This time of year is filled with wonderful lighting, beautiful sunsets but most of all, vibrant and colorful leaves. Yes, we are talking about the season fall! We as wedding photographers are very fortunate to live in the city of Toronto and to be able to photograph this extraordinary seasons. As professional wedding photographers there are ups and downs that can occur in every season. Take for instance the summer. the weather is so hot and humid that your subject is literally melting in front of your lens. The groomsmen are overheating and the bridesmaids hair has frizzed up into a giant ball, and not to mention the makeup!!! Winter on the other hand, can also have its challenges. Your subjects can only be out in the cold for a short time before extremities begin to freeze and noses begin to turn bright red. Have fun retouching 1500 images!! Then we have spring… Blah,,,, ya, you may have Cherie blossoms for a week and a few flowers popping out of the ground, but you clients are constantly sneezing due to the pollen in the air…. Fall, on the other hand, is the perfect time of year to capture a wedding! You and your spouse will feel comfortable in no matter what you wear, yes, there will be some days that rain will come or the wind will strike, but overall this season is KING!
